Biography of Kristi Mollis, President & CEO of Everglades University
Ms. Kristi Mollis is the President/CEO of Everglades University overseeing the University’s six campuses located in Boca Raton, Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando, & Miami, Florida & an Online Division. President Mollis holds an MBA from Nova University and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace University.
She was recognized in the Florida Trend 2020 “People to Know” for Palm Beach County. President Mollis has been recognized for the last 10 consecutive years in the Top 100 Women Businesses in Florida by the Women’s Edge. Ms. Mollis was recognized in 2012 as the South Florida Business Leader of the year in Education.
President Mollis has over 34 years of higher education leadership experience.

Ms. Mollis currently serves as a Committee Chair for On-Site Evaluators for the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) and served as a past ACCSC Team leader conducting over 40+ announced and unannounced visits for these Commissions. From 2009-2013 President Mollis served as an elected Commissioner and held an office on the Executive Committee of ACCSC, a USDOE accrediting agency. She was honored by ACCSC in 2007 and awarded the 2007 Team Leader of the Year.
She has been the EU President for the past 21 years. Under her leadership Everglades University has received many awards and recognitions and has grown from one campus to six locations, from a College to University status, from under 100 students to over 2,200 students, and moved from a national to a regional accreditation.
Everglades University is a level III SACS Accredited University and member of the Independent Colleges and Universities of Florida (ICUF) and currently the 19th largest non-profit University in the state of Florida.
President Mollis has been a VISTAGE member for over 19 years. President Mollis has attended over 100 professional development workshops including: USDOE, FLDOE, SACS, VA, SEVIS/INS, ICUF, Team Leader Training, Commissioner Training, Commissioner Meetings, and other regulatory body workshops
